Educational Piece And Visual Tribute
This brochure needed to educate viewers about Edvard Munch and his works, exploring his emotional intensity and influence on modern art. In addition, it needed to visually echo the expressive, often unsettling tone of his work, a challenge in both layout and atmosphere.
The Challenge
My goal was to craft a multi-page, folding design that explores Munch’s artistic journey while also showcasing how layout, structure, and composition can guide visual storytelling.
The Goal
Through strategic folding, flowlines, and hierarchy, the design enhances the reading experience and directs the viewer’s engagement with the content. By combining expressive typography, dynamic color choices, and intentional page compositions, this brochure translates the dramatic and emotional intensity of Munch’s work into print.

This project was a challenge in learning about multi-page design and how hierarchy changes when unfolding the brochure. The project required a strong understanding and application of horizontal flowlines and working within a grid system, which helped the design feel informative and structurally sound. Overall, it was rewarding to focus on physical craft for this project and create something meant for viewers to physically touch and interact with on a close scale.
